Guatemala covers a total area of approximately 42,043 square mile. It is a very small country that often gets dismissed. However, there is so much beauty including the active volcanoes (like Acatenango), the beautiful views from Lake Atitlán, and the rich Mayan culture. Not to mention how good the food is! Im of course guilty of being bias but I just feel like Guatemala is overshadowed by neighbouring countries in North America.

What should you expect in Guatemala?

• Indigenous Craftsmanship: We are known for traditional textiles made with backstrap looms and colorful huipil blouses.
• Coffee and Rum: We make it on the top ten favourties of the world for our coffee and rum!
• Landscapes: Guatemala has the most beautiful Lakes, that are surrounded by volcanoes and villages.
